The first ‘A10 Classico’ of the season arises on Saturday as Isthmian Premier neighbours Enfield and Cheshunt lock horns at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides enter this encounter with contrasting results, the visitors are coming off three defeats on the spin, to Leatherhead, Worthing and league leaders Folkestone Invicta.

The hosts have two wins and one loss from their previous three games, the victories coming against Brightlingsea Regent and Cray Wanderers, with the defeat inflicted by Chichester City in the FA Cup a fortnight ago.

Different Perspectives

The two sides have enjoyed indifferent starts to the season, with Enfield sitting pretty in fourth place, with 23 points from their first 10 games, but the Ambers are languishing in 17th place, with 10 points, having played two more games than their hosts.

It promises to be a lively and fiery affair, as both teams look for another vital three points in their quests for their end goals this season.
