“A draw would be a good result for us, but of course we’re always going to try and go there to get a result,” was Peter Taylor’s outlook on the away trip on Tuesday night.

The east Londoners will be looking to pick up another crucial three points from the game, after Taylor said they needed another two victories to ensure survival.

Preparation For Midweek

The Daggers’ boss insisted that good preparation would be key to maintaining momentum in the league:

“We’ll be here on Monday morning preparing for Havant, and you’ve got to prepare right. I thought the players’ attitude was first class today (against Bromley), and I think they knew the importance of a win.”

Havant Battling To Stay Up

Without a win since mid-January, Havant are in a real relegation battle.

The Hawks will be looking to take points from the Daggers, who have been on a good run of form in the last month.

Last Time Out

Dagenham put in their performance of the season at home on Saturday, picking apart Bromley to seal a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Havant lost their weekend game 2-0 at the hands of Maidstone United, in what has spiralled in to a seven game winless run.

Earlier In The Season

Dagenham came away victorious in the reverse fixture at the end of November. The Daggers beat the relegation strugglers 3-1, with two goals from Conor Wilkinson sealing the win, in what had been an inconsistent start to the season for Taylor’s men.

Key Players

Wilkinson goes in to the game on the back of some good form, having taken his goal tally to 11 for the season. The return of Angelo Balanta was marked with a goal against Bromley, as the Colombian forward works his way back from a spell on the sidelines with injury.
