From today until Sunday 13th of November, multiple venues across East London will be hosting the Pitchfork Music Festival for the second time.

There will be 16 music events spread across 11 venues, some of which are iconic in the London music scene, such as The Roundhouse, Hackney Church, and Fabric.

Cambridgeshire folk band Black Country, New Road will kick off the festival at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) near Piccadilly Circus today. At the same time, Village Underground in Shoreditch will host performances from Feux; Ivy Sole; Jeshi; and record producer, singer, songwriter and DJ, Lil Silva. EartH in Stoke Newington, and Fabric in EC1, are also scheduled for events today.

Tomorrow the spotlight will be on the performance of Injury Reserve – once again at the Village Underground. They will present their most recent album By The Time I Get To Phoenix, which is a homage to the late third member of the group Steppa J. Groggs who passed away in June 2020. Playing with them are Nukuluk, They Hate Change and Billy Woods.

Friday is marked by the cancellation of the American Rock band Animal Collective, who were scheduled to play at Hackney Church. The day will consist of many performances across four venues, with NNMADÏ and Marina Herlop drawing the most attention.

For the more electronic-focused day of the festival, EartH, Colour Factory and 60 Dock Road will be hosting performances from artists such as DJ Danny and I.JORDAN. To finish the festival on Sunday, Courtney Barnett promises to give a stellar performance at The Roundhouse, while Kae Tempest will play at The Albany in Deptford.

The full line-up and stage times are available on the Pitchfork Music Festival website. Tickets for each event are available individually and can be bought through Dice.
