Stormzy will play at Victoria Park next August. The announcement came this morning in an Instagram post from the All Point East Festival.

The Croydon-born rapper is the first headline act to be confirmed by the ten-day festival’s organisers, and will co-curate a whole day of his own called ‘This Is What We Mean Day’.

After the announcement he took to his own Insta channel to share a video named after the day, with a caption that read, “This is my only UK show next year and I promise you it will be an EXPERIENCE. We’re taking over Victoria Park for a special day full of incredible artists and music and vibes.”

Since the announcement, the festival has gained lots of attention, with fans liking and sharing the news of Stormzy’s exclusive East London performance next year.

The name of Stormy’s own All Points East day was inspired by the highly-anticipated album he is due to release on the 25th of November titled This Is What I Mean’

If you pre-order the album via Stormzy’s website  you will get early access to presale tickets, starting 10am Tuesday 15 November.

General festival tickets go live on the 17th of November, also at 10 am, on ticketmaster.
