East London women’s netball team is ready and geared up to continue their season in the BUCS league against top of the table opposition, the LSE women’s third team.

With a game in hand over the LSE side, East London will look to keep up with the home team in the table despite losing one of their captains for the game.

The centre of East London, Ellie Eaton, has been a fantastic leader this season but an unfortunate injury last week means she will most likely be cheering her girls on from the sidelines as her return to action has not been confirmed yet, and she remains a doubt for the rest if the season.

The LSE women have been playing well, winning six games since the Christmas break while only losing one during this season’s campaign, putting them at the top of the table with 18 points.

On Wednesday the LSE side will be led by their three captains, Angeline Juventia, Maha Khan and Anna Bray.

The East London side will enter the match with the best point differential in their division with 91 through six games, while LSE holds a point difference of 68 through seven games.
