This past weekend during UFC’s annual London show we saw the best of what Britain has got to offer.

We saw Leon Edwards pick up his seventh straight win against a very dangerous Gunner Nelson, we saw Nathaniel Wood continue his dominance in the O2 arena with his third straight submission win in the O2 Arena, and we saw the shocking loss of Britain’s biggest Star Darren Till when he was knocked out by Jorge Masvidal.

It was a very exciting night for MMA fans and was considered to be one of the greatest UK cards of all time.

So, what is next for these fighters? Here is an estimate of what to expect next for the fighters.

Shock for Till

Darren Till is currently one of the biggest MMA stars in the UK. This past weekend, fans were left shocked after seeing Till get knocked out. Many thought Till would win this fight and be en route to another shot at the Welterweight championship.

But things did not go to plan for “The Guerrilla” as he suffered his second straight loss after being knocked out by then number-11 ranked Welterweight Jorge Masividal.

Fans and critics alike both believe Till’s next move should be to move up to middleweight. This is because Till has had previous struggles making the 170 pounds Welterweight limit.

Because of his high rank as a Welterweight, Till should fight a top 10 middleweight for his 185 pounds debut.

A great match up for Darren Till to make his 185 pounds debut would be top middleweight contender Derrick Brunson. The last time we saw Brunson in action was when he suffered a TKO loss to future interim title challenger Israel Adesanya.

Derrick is currently on a two-fight losing streak and a win over Darren Till will not only show the UFC but the world he is still one of the best fighters at 180 pounds

This fight would be a great chance for Till too, to be able to take of one of the elite in the Middleweight division, Till can prove he will be able to become as big of contender in the Middleweight division as he was in the Welterweight division.

‘The Prospect’

Nathanael Wood has been living up to his nickname ‘The Prospect’ after winning his third straight fight.

The Bantamweight division is stacked right now and there are many options for Wood to make a huge mark in the 135 pounds division.

A great fight for ‘The Prospect’ would be former two-time Flyweight title challenger John Dodson.

Dodson has already proven to the world he is one of the greatest lighter weight’s fighters in the world, going five rounds with one of the greatest fighters of all time twice.

A win over Dodson would convince the UFC to give Wood bigger fights which would eventually lead to a title.

Wood is currently on an eight-fight winning streak (three straight wins in the UFC) and a win over Dodson would be a great way to break into the top 15.

‘Gamebred’ ready to fight

Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal shocked the world this past weekend in London when he was able to knockout the then number three ranked Welterweight Darren Till.

There are many options for Masvidal after this win as it is almost guaranteed he will break in the top five after the rankings update later this week.

The obvious choice for Masivdal would be to fight against Brit Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards. Both men have shown interest in fighting each other.

Things got so tense, it ended up in a physical altercation between Edwards and Masvidal during an interview.

This will be a great fight for both men as Edwards is currently on a seven-fight winning streak and deserves a shot into the top five.

If Masvidal is able to take out Edwards he would prove to not only the fans but also to UFC match makers he’s in line for a title shot in the future.
