Happiness Begins And Ends With The Jonas Brothers

When the internet exploded with the news of a brand-new Jonas Brothers’ tour, we said to ourselves we couldn’t miss it for anything in the world!
Growing up as huge fans of the trio we just had to see them live at least once in our lives.
We had to buy tickets months in advance. Finally the day came to see them at the 02 in North Greenwich.
The excitement was palpable and we couldn’t wait for the Brothers to get on stage and start singing our favourite songs.

The support acts started at 7pm. Two of them, a girl named Livvia and a guy named Jordan McGraw, were still unknown performers and the crowd clearly wasn’t into their music. The last to perform before the Jonas Brothers came on stage was an Irish band: Picture This, who are well-known on the internet and Spotify. They were brilliant and both the singer and the guitarists had the audience hyped up for the main event.
As soon as the lights went down, the crowd started screaming at the top of their lungs. When the Jonas Brothers came on stage, they made the wait worthwhile.
The concert was divided into three parts: Act 1, Act 2 and the Encore at the end.
The band alternated brand-new songs from their latest album Happiness Begins with classics from the early 2000s.
The crowd was filled both with hard-core fans who were with the band right from the very start, and new ones who discovered the trio with their comeback in 2019.
The three brothers didn’t disappoint and the setlist was pure perfection. They played all their most famous hits, from “S.O.S.” to “Burning Up”. Crowd-pleasing ballads such as “Love Bug” and “Used to be” were goose bumps-worthy, to say the least.
The band also paid tribute to both Nick’s and Joe’s solo careers. Their individual hits “Jealous” and “Cake by the Ocean” began as solos, before the two brothers came together for the final verses – almost to remind us that the time they spent on their solo careers was just as well-spent.
The concert ended with “Sucker”, the first single from Happiness Begins. As the lights turned back up and everybody started leaving the arena, we knew this was a night never to be forgotten, a night when we got to be kids again and sing our hearts out.
