Liam Gallagher, former frontman of band Oasis, took to the stage at Londons 02 Arena, during the BRIT Awards this week.

Sparking 90s Britpop nostalgia, Gallagher did not disappoint by arriving at the venue in typical Liam Gallagher style: in a helicopter.

And the chopper had his most popular Mancunian phrase “R Kid” imprinted on it, letting the audience know that they were about to experience some Rock n’ Roll.

The Rock n’ Roll Star shared the live debut of his new song ‘Everything’s Electric’, which was released four days prior to the Awards.

The song ignited excitement among fans all around the world after it was announced that Dave Grohl, former Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters legend, had co-written it with Gallagher and also plays the drums on the track.

The 90s icon brought swagger to the ceremony and blew fans away with his belting performance. However, Gallagher himself didn’t think too highly of his performance responding to a fan on Twitter saying:

“@liamgallagher: I’m not too sure bout that it was ok these things rarely turn out how you want them to be but what is true is that it was live and I don’t mime.” (credit via Twitter)

One small detail appeared to grab the attention of many – Liam’s Stone Island deerstalker-style hat. It quickly became the talk of social media with people claiming that the hat “stole the show”. Nonetheless Liam looked as cool as ever.

His forthcoming solo album ‘C’mon You Know’ will be released in May 2022. The singer will also be heading out on a UK tour on the following dates:

June 01 – Manchester Etihad Stadium

June 03 – Stevenage Knebworth Park

June 04 – Stevenage Knebworth Park

June 24 – Belfast Ormeau Park
