The evening went smoothly for the Lions with a small home crowd in the arena supporting the Bulls.

The crowd roared loudly when the Bulls scored, and the sound intensified as the game went on.

Both teams played well in defence as the scores in the first, second, and third quarter were neck and neck, it was brilliant to see both teams keeping up with their game plan making It an exciting game for the fans in attendance.

Players that stood out during this game for the Lions were Marquis Teague and Isaiah Reese who were both the top scorers for the Lions and combined for 39 points through four quarters. While Reese provided great playmaking going forward with seven assists, Teague had a very efficient scoring night going 61% from the field.

The play of the night goes to Jordan Williams and Julian Williams-Washburn, who combined for an exciting and electric dunk late into the first quarter and got the building buzzing.

The Bulls played a well-rounded game both offensively and defensively, despite not having enough in the tank to stop the pouncing Lion’s side. One could say that this was probably the Bulls’ best game this season as they have been struggling in the all-other cups they have played in.

The players that stood out the most from the Austrian side was Dejan Cigoja, who finished the game with the most points with 22, and Kareem Jamar who provided the most playmaking for the home side with five assists.

The Lion’s next opponent in the FIBA Europe Cup is the Medi Bayreuth who they will be squaring up against on Wednesday the 17th away from home in the Oberfrankenhalle in Germany.
