Millwall face second placed AFC Bournemouth at The Den in the Sky Bet Championship tonight as they look to continue their push towards the playoff places.

The Lions come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw away at Middlesbrough, a draw which took their recent run to only one defeat in their last six league games.

Despite starting the league with a disappointing run of only one win in their opening nine games, their turnaround in form has helped get the club up to 10th in the table and closer to where the club would have been aiming to be at the start of the season.

Struggled

Only tonight’s visitors and Fulham have fewer losses than Millwall so far this season but, as was the case for much of last season, they have struggled to convert those draws into wins.

AFC Bournemouth travel to The Den having won 12 of their 18 league games under new manager Scott Parker, however a surprising 3-2 loss against bottom side Derby County in their last game should give Millwall every reason to believe they can get a good result tonight.
