‘Markleton’: the romance that dare not speak its name

Remember the rumours that Kate and Meghan hate each other? It turns out that this was just a cover story to distract people from the fact that this year’s star couple is in fact ‘Markleton’!

The truth was finally shared by Kensington Palace this morning lest a later announcement remove focus from the birth of Meghan’s child in May.

Sources report that the Queen has been aware of the feelings that Kate and Meghan have for each other for some time, hence the decision to send Harry and Meghan to Nottingham Cottage in the hope that things might die down, but to no avail.

It was only last May when The Sun reported that Meghan had “left Kate Middleton in tears” because of a comment she had made about Charlotte’s bridesmaid’s dress – suggesting that the two princesses had nothing in common.

But those in the know were aware of a growing bond, and following the Royal premiere of The Favourite, which both princesses attended, some began to notice a change in the way they looked at each other.

Clues as to who might have taken the lead in this unorthodox relationship are discernible in the way that Meghan has often broken with Palace protocol, for example when she shut the car door by herself!

Meghan and Harry are expected to experience the ‘most stressful time’ after the birth of their child in May, according to the Express. Fans were wondering why this time would be so very stressful, but now the puzzle is taking shape.

It is true that the two royal women are different, but, clearly, opposites attract. Besides, every couple has its laughter and tears.

We will keep you updated once we know more from Kensington Palace.
