Having booked a trip to Wembley at the weekend, the O’s clash with their cup final opponents this Tuesday in the National League. Orient sit top of the pile with two games in-hand on closest rivals Solihull Moors.

Nine games remain for Justin Edinburgh’s side to secure promotion to League Two, with fifth place AFC Fylde amongst those pushing for a play-off place.

Jamie Turley has been covering at right-wing-back, with both Sam Ling and Myles Judd injured. Jordan Maguire-Drew is set to miss the next couple of weeks after picking up a calf injury away to Havant & Waterlooville.

Promotion Rivals

Fylde’s 3-2 victory in their semi-final clash with Stockport confirmed they would meet Orient in the FA Trophy final on May 19th.

Dave Challinor’s side are unbeaten in seven outings, with Chesterfield the last team to defeat the Coasters.

The visitors have no-notable injury concerns as they make the trip down to the capital.

Fitness Boost

Josh Koroma’s return from injury has been a massive boost for his side, as Orient pursue the National League title and FA Trophy. The 20-year-old was recently selected for England C, though was withdrawn with a slight injury.

Koroma shone the last time these two sides competed, scoring two stunning goals to ensure Orient came away with three-points.

Precious Points

A fantastic brace from Koroma secured a comfortable 3-1 victory for the O’s at Mill Farm.

Macauley Bonne had opened the scoring inside five minutes, before Danny Rowe levelled the tie midway through the first-half.

A goal either side of half-time from Koroma gave Orient breathing space, with the east- London side leaving the north with all three points.

Dress Rehearsal

These two sides will clash once more before the end of the season. The FA Trophy Final on May 19th promises to be a mouth-watering tie, with both sides making the trip to Wembley for Non-League Final day.

Should the O’s be promoted, the trip to Wembley would be the perfect celebration; more so if they were to win the final and secure a league and cup double.
