Season-Deciding Times

Orient go into the game having won four of their last seven league games, but will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after drawing the previous game away to Harrogate Town on Tuesday.

The O’s are currently sat 11th in League Two and four points behind 7th place, Forest Green.

Barrow come into the game having been unbeaten in four games and with a high morale boost after picking up a 92nd minute winner against Exeter City at home to give them the three points.

The Bluebirds are currently sat 20th in the league table and will also be looking to pick up points in prevention of falling in the relegation zone.

Orient Manager, Jobi McAnuff, feels optimistic about Orient’s remaining games as he urges his players to give a last push and finish strong to give them a chance to finish in the top seven.

Win At All Costs

McAnuff spoke on Leyton Orient TV and said: “ There has to be a goal, there has to be something to work towards and to keep that drive, keep that focus and energy to move forward.

“While we’ve got a chance, while we are in the race, we’re going to go for it.

“We want to take it as late as possible. If we’ve got a chance going into the last day, then we’ll take it.

“We’ve got to win games now, we know that. We need to win Football matches and nothing less will do from here on end and certainly on Saturday, that will be our intent.

“We need to go out and get the three points,” said McAnuff.

With five league games remaining, Orient will be looking to finish strong if they want to stand a chance of finishing in the play-off position.

Striker, Danny Johnson, will also be looking to increase his goalscoring tally having scored in the previous game and currently sat third in the top scorers chart, having found the net 17 times this season.

Saturday’s fixture hopes to be an exciting prospect between the two sides as we get closer to the latter stages of this season’s League Two.
