This Saturday, Leyton Orient will come up against a struggling Barrow in what could prove to be a real six-pointer for whoever comes out victorious.

The O’s go into the match with a well-rested team, having had their Easter Monday fixture against Maidenhead postponed due to pitch related issues.

Barrow, however, had the tough task of hosting promotion contenders, Fylde, in what resulted in a 3-1 away win.

Good Form

The East-Londoners are high-spirited ahead of Saturday’s match, having won their previous two fixtures by comfortable margins. The team has been showing promise and are hoping to keep their recent form going.

To do so, they’ll need major contribution from key players like Macauley Bonne, who has been a constant threat with 18 league goals so far this season.

Veteran Jobi McAnuff will also be an important member of the team.

McAnuff bagged two goals in his first full game last Friday, since returning from an injury that kept him sidelined for a month, and will want to have the same impact this weekend.

Must-Win

The visitors are hoping they can put an end to their poor run of games, having won only two of the last 10 league games.

Barrow have reasons to be confident since both wins happened away from home, with the same score line of a goal to none.

However, this has kept Barrow in the relegation scrap. The visitors are currently in 20th place with 41 points, the same point tally as the first team in the red zone, Solihull.

Barrow will hope to see 23 year-old forward, Luke James find the back of the net.

James is a recent arrival at the club, and has enjoyed a good start in his new colours. The young front-man has scored five goals in his first 10 games for Barrow and has been the club’s most reliable player in the past three months.
