The UEL volleyball teams are hoping to maintain their perfect start in the BUCS Premier South league after victory in their last two games wins.
Last Wednesday both mens and womens team won their first home game against the University of Essex.
This Wednesday 17th October the Blues are playing away from home against the University of Bournemouth.
The games will take place at the Tablot Campus Sports Hall in Bournemouth. The men’s game will start at 13:30 and women’s team match starts at 11:00.
Seeking Retribution
The last meeting between the two universities was on the 22nd November and left the mens’ team licking their wounds after a 3-2 loss. However the women’s team won their tie 1-3.
This will be the second game for the Bournemouth team so far in the season and the second consecutive at home. Both Bournemouth mens and womens squads have also won their two opening games.
Last season the University of Bournemouth men’s team finished the Premier South league with the same amount of points as UEL, but they finished second because of the five points differences.
