Stephen Opoka’s side have experienced mixed fortunes during their opening two matches of the season with one win and a defeat so far.

On October 10th, UEL began the season in emphatic style with a 14-0 victory over the University of Kent at Hackney Marshes.

However, this was followed by a disappointing 7-2 defeat at the hands of Brunel University in UEL’s first match on the road last week.

UEL go in to this week’s match sitting third in the South Eastern 1A Division having taken three points from six available. They boast a goal difference of 9, the second best in the division.

The Opposition

University College have played just one game this season, from which they secured all three points with a 0-3 victory away at Queen Mary University of London.

They go into the match sitting fourth in South Eastern 1A, level on points with their opponents, UEL.

UCL finished second in the division last season and will surely be aiming for similar heights this time around.
