This weekend sees the young Addicks back in action against Coventry City at Sparrows Lane.

Charlton go into Saturday’s game having suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, who moved to within a point of their London rivals.

Poor Form

Anthony Hayes’ side have struggled in recent weeks having only gained one point in three, and look to be out of reach of Millwall in top spot.

However, the Addicks will be looking to change their run of bad results this week against a Coventry side who have only five wins this season, and sit second from bottom.

City On The Up

The visitors have gained four points from their last five games, but will be hoping to extend the gap between themselves and QPR at the bottom of the table.

However, they go into this week’s game with some confidence, having picked up a well-fought 4-3 victory against sixthplace Ipswich Town.

Repeat?

Charlton will of course be looking to halt any kind of resurgence from Coventry, and will be optimistic of a similar result to the two sides’ last outing.

The last meeting between the two teams back in November saw a resounding 6-0 victory for the Addicks, with Luca Albon impressing by scoring twice, who has now scored eight goals this season.

Kick-off for this one is 12pm on Saturday 15th February at Sparrows Lane Training Ground.
