The London Lions have secured their place in the BBL play-off final after defeating the Bristol Flyers 91-73.

The contest between the two semi-finalists was filled with cheers and excitement for Lions fans as the London-based Basketball team got their well-deserved win over the Flyers.

The boys from Bristol gave everything they could to try and disrupt the Lions however, an outstanding fourth-quarter performance from the Lions saw them their spot in the BBL play-off final at the 02 Arena.

Although Bristol got off to a flying start, the Lions head coach James Vear changed strategy which helped the team score in quick succession to get the tie back all in the first ten minutes.

Flyers forward Trejon Jacob and Lions guard Isaiah Reese practically went basket for basket as Reese scored 16 points in the first quarter while Jacob accumulated 14 by the first buzzer. 

Reese was the star bar for the Lions, ending the night with 28 points, eight blocks, eight assists and six steals in a dominant and destructive display.

The Lions will be looking forward to the final where they are set to play the Leicester Riders at a sold-out 02 Arena.
